Each system has their own strengths and merits, and it is important that we match the right vendor with the right hotel. Bamboo will spend time with your teams to really understand the expectations and what we need to get out of the system to really work for the business. Systems should be there to make our lives more straightforward and efficient.
Vendor Selection
Matching the business needs with the right vendor is where Bamboo really adds value - we know most of the vendors and their systems. We have worked with them in other properties, and know the positives (and negatives) of their offerings. Bamboo remains vendor neutral and will find and recommend the best systems to suit the hotel’s needs.
Preparation for Configuration
Preparation is always the key when implementing a system or process into a hotel. Spending the time ensuring that the data is in the correct format; the structure of the implementation has been future-proofed ensures that the whole project will deliver the expectations of the team.
Configure the System
We will work along side the system vendor and the hotel team, to ensure that the system is correctly configured and follows the guidelines set out during the scoping process. Both the hotels and the vendors appreciate our involvement, as we can really speed up the process but ensure that everyone’s needs have been met.
Training
Again working alongside the vendor, we will ensure that the training is inline with our configuration and business demands. Training the key individuals at the start will allow the knowledge to be shared throughout the hotel. Bamboo’s own knowledge will enhance the standard training as we will always focus on the hotel’s own operation.
Implementation
The implementation process is often the most involved part of the process as this is where we connect various supporting systems together. Testing is the key, and being able to do this “offline” allows us to avoid any disruption to the business or unnecessary work for the hotel teams.
